Agreeing the split of costs, risks and obligations between you and your customer is key to a smooth export / import process. 

We can guide and clarify the agreement and highlight any extra steps to consider based on your sales terms.

We can provide templates for your commercial invoice and packing list to ensure all required information is included. 

We will also confirm any additional certificates or statements needed to accompany the shipment. 

We can advise on any special packaging requirements to maintain the quality of the goods during transport. 

We can also confirm any specific UK labelling requirements for your products. 

Certain goods must arrive at approved inspection points in the UK. 

We can help assess the routes available for your shipment and confirm which are appropriate. 

We can also provide quotes for the freight through Avocet Clearance.

If your customer needs support with the UK import process, we can also arrange customs clearance, port health clearance and onward inland delivery from the port or airport through Avocet Clearance.

The UK importer would need to complete an onboarding process.
